I AM THE COSMOS

Hace pocos días un infarto se llevó por delante la vida de Andy Hummel, el bajista de BIG STAR. Contaba tan sólo con 59 años de edad. Con su muerte, ya son dos las "grandes estrellas" que nos han abandonado este año.

En homenaje a Andy Hummel y a Alex Chilton, rescato una canción de CHRIS BELL. La vida de Chris Bell estuvo marcada por el infortunio, en este enlace podéis leer su biografía.

"I Am The Cosmos" es una de esas canciones que me pone la piel de gallina cada vez que la escucho. En realidad, eso me ocurre con casi todas las canciones del único disco que se llegó a publicar de Chris Bell y que curiosamente, saldría a la venta catorce años después de su muerte. Me parece uno de esos pocos discos que hay que tener casi de forma obligada.
